Don’t forget:

Your Passport, Insurance Documents, Flight Details and Boarding passes and any Car Hire details and driving licence if hiring a car.

Paphos Airport:

Pathos airport is an international airport, it’s well maintained and they are pretty efficient at getting you through in both directions.

Public Transport and Car Hire:

Public transport is sighted right outside the terminal.

If you are hiring a car from the airport the parks are sighted right next to the Bus Park the best thing about hiring a car on Cyprus is they drive on the left side of the road, the roads are what you expect in a hot country they can sometimes be a bit bumpy but that’s all part of the fun, the local police are generally understanding but don’t tolerate drinking and driving so be warned.

Petrol is cheaper than in the UK but that always depends on the exchange rate another plus is the fact that nearly all road signs are in Greek and English. And in Cyprus Peyia is spelt Pegeia on all the road signs.

Direction from Airport to Complex:

Turn left out of the airport car park and follow the road to the T-junction at the end of the road.

Turn left at the T junction onto the B6 signposted Paphos, on this road you will pass large signs for ‘America Academy’ and ‘Savvas pottery’(both on the right hand side.

Follow the road until you get to the large roundabout with Debenhams on your right take the first exit.

At the next roundabout turn right signposted Pegeia,Kathikas and Polis this road is the E701.

This road will lead you through Paphos and along the coast road to Coral Bay.

At Coral Bay, turn right on the E706,signposted Pegeia,Kathikas and Polis.

Follow the road all the way up to the village,go past Alpha Bank on your left. Follow the road up the hill. You will then be approaching a very bad right hand bend, which looks more like a junction you need to turn left here, the sign will say Agios Georgios. Follow the road down the hill past the first left turning, take the next left where there is a tree in the road! Just down on the left is the Vanessa Exclusive Resort.

Go past the first turning for Vanessa and take the second turning, normally you would enter the car park at the furthest block (block E)

Turn right and go up to the first floor, turn right and E8 is at the end of the corridor on your right.

However, if the car park is in accessible, go past the last block, bear round to the left and onto the waste ground, drive along the back of the site and turn back onto the car park at the side of block D (opp E) pull down and park anywhere along there, walk through the complex across to block E, enter and go straight along the corridor to the end.

The car park lot number for the apartment is 47, for the height of the season, however, if it is not to busy you don’t need to stick to this.

For guests who are travelling from the airport in a taxi please give the driver the copy of directions (in Greek) to the driver.

Weather in Cyprus:

Throughout the year Cyprus boasts between 6-12 hours sunshine per day, the village of Peyia has the advantage of being located only 3km from the best beach on the Island, Coral Bay.

Summer begins in early May and extends right through to the end of October.

Even in the winter you will find an average of 6 hours sunshine per day, rising quickly once spring arrives with temperatures reaching of 70f during the day time.

It is unlikely that any stay in Cyprus will be without its fair share of sunshine.
